The purpose of the final class in Level II is to crystallize and synthesize many of the experiential modalities that have been taught throughout the program. Participants will be invited to prepare ahead of time either a brief case scenario or specific questions regarding a client and their challenges in treatment. The entire Level II faculty, as well as the Level II students, will all be given opportunities to weigh in, offering different perspectives on a variety of modalities that could be incorporated into the work. Feedback will focus on offering a variety of creative approaches to address the identified client issues, as well as how to address difficulties in the therapeutic relationship. We will explore modalities including parts work, using art therapeutically, psychodrama techniques, movement, somatic accessing, breath work, visualization, focusing and guided imagery, and spirituality.
