Dr. Sabrina N’Diaye is an integrative therapist, storyteller, peacebuilder, and founder of the Heart Nest Center for Peace and Healing in Baltimore, Maryland. Her approach to healing is a blend of wisdom, science, and ancient spiritual practices.

Sabrina received her PhD in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University, where she studied the use of complementary and alternative interventions for physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Her dissertation study focused on the use of guided imagery as a healing tool for African-American women with chronic STIs.

Sabrina has served as a guest lecturer for the Maryland University of Integrative Health, and adjunct faculty at Saybrook University. For thirteen years, she served as a lead faculty member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine, where she responded to community-wide trauma around the world.

Dr. Sabrina is a highly respected member of the treatment community, and frequently lectures on peacebuilding, spirituality, self-care for healers, imagery, writing, and the “magic” of connection. She recently completed her first book, Big Mama Speaks: Love Lessons from a Harlem River Swan based on her maternal grandmother’s ability to transcend multiple traumas and chronic illness.

Dr. Sabrina is passionate about guiding other therapists in making a living while serving humanity.

Very helpful and gave me new perspective and skills to enhance peace building skills. Opened my eyes to actions I could take where before I felt helpless.

Wow. What better way to learn about healing leadership than by witnessing it and being healed by it throughout the workshop? I feel so much gratitude to Sabrina for modeling what healing leadership looks like, and giving so freely of her wisdom so that we may continue to share with others. I am blown away.

Sabrina was very personable and allowed you to discuss situations that often made you feel vulnerable if you were to share it with other leaders/supervisors. I liked how she allowed you to feel safe and reflect on how to best address supervisory issues. I love the questions to ask Supervisees on what they will find helpful out of supervision, being better at focusing on my own self-care prior, during, and after supervision, and exercising Supervision as a ritual.

I loved all of it! The real life examples of concepts, breaking into groups and processing an issue, the reminder from Sabrina that I am human and no one expects me to have all of the answers. This felt like sitting with a friend and drinking a dirty chai and feeling the support and nurturing while also gaining knowledge.

Amy Heilman

I especially liked looking at supervision from a framework of 4 archetypes and their shadow sides; using heart, hand and mind to encompass all aspects of supervision; viewing supervision as engaging, fun, supportive and as a relationship, not just as a teaching experience.

I enjoyed the presentation and insights. It was nice to connect more intimately with participants 1:1...

[Therapists as Peacebuilders: Using Your Gifts for Global Impact} was a great workshop. I enjoy learning opportunities that balance between personal growth/awareness as a clinician as well as wider reaching issues. The facilitator [Sabrina] was knowledgeable, experienced, approachable and enjoyable. I felt that it was a nice change of pace to be “learning” on the psycho-spiritual/emotional end of things rather than just the mental. I do feel like this was one of the most valuable CEU's I've taken this season.
